Finance Director Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Finance Director to join our dynamic leadership team. This is a critical role responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the company, ensuring its financial health and stability, and driving strategic financial planning.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company’s overall business objectives.
• Oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll.
• Manage the budgeting process, including forecasting, variance analysis, and performance monitoring.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for management and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and legal requirements.
• Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, and other financial institutions.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks.
• Provide financial guidance and support to other departments within the organization.
• Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Evaluate and recommend investments, mergers, and acquisitions.
• Present financial performance and strategic recommendations to the executive team and board of directors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• CPA certification required.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven track record of successful financial management and strategic planning.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP), tax laws, and financial regulations.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools.
• Experience with ERP systems and other accounting software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
